Sarah Harrod

Sarah Harrod is the Principal of Harrods and Associates. Sarah appears regularly in the specialist Children’s Court at Surry Hills and Parramatta in Sydney. Sarah is a strong advocate and is dedicated to providing her legal skills and over 20 years experience working within the Children and Family Court jurisdictions.

Sarah has the skill and experience in dealing with difficult and complex matters, many of which have a variety of issues including family violence, mental health, drug issues and clients with disabilities.  Her experience allows Sarah to be  able to identify the issues and assist clients in working through these with an understanding approach to sensitive issues.

Sarah is able to effectively communicate with her clients using language and techniques that enable clients to understand the process within the legal system.

Sarah was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2001 and started her own law practice in 2005. Prior to starting her own law practice, Sarah worked for large and small suburban firms as a paralegal and lawyer including  Maurice Blackburn and Partners,  McLachlan Chilton, and Giles Payne & Co, and has a variety of experience in areas of law including care and protection law, family law, estate law, civil disputes, and building and construction law.

Sarah mainly works in the areas of family and care and protection law and, this specialisation enables Sarah to know how to get the best outcomes for you.
